Dr. Yingyan Lou is an assistant professor in the Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering program in the School of Sustainable Engineering and The Built Environment Engineering at Arizona State University. She holds a B.S. and a B.A.Econ degree from Beijing University, and received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Coastal Engineering from the University of Florida. Before ASU, she worked at the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama. Dr. Lou’s primary area of expertise is transportation systems modeling and optimization, and its applications in enhancing decision making towards a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable transportation system. Her research has led to 18 journal publications, 1 book chapter, and 14 peer-reviewed conference articles. In 2010, she received the Pikarsky Award for Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertations in Science and Technology from the Council of University Transportation Centers. Dr. Lou currently serves as a member in three Transportation Research Board committees (Transportation Network Modeling, User Information Systems, and Highway Safety Performance).
President: Sravani Vadlamani
Sravani Vadlamani is a PhD student in Transportation Engineering at Arizona State University. She earned a Master's Degrees in Transportation Engineering and Geographic Information Systems (MAS-GIS) from ASU and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from JNTU, India. She worked as a Transportation Engineer for the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) and is a certified Engineer-In-Training (EIT) from the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration.She was the Vice-President for ASU-ITE in 2008-2009.In her spare time, she enjoys reading and cooking.
Vice President: Christopher Hoehne
Chris is a Master's student in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation systems. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation from the University of Missouri. He has his EIT certification in Missouri and studied transportation engineering abroad in the spring of 2013. His hobbies include listening to and making music, playing and watching hockey, and traveling.
Secretary: Sathish Kannan
Sathish is a master’s student in civil engineering with specialization in pavement & materials. His research area includes Freight Transportation and Pavement Performance Prediction. He earned his under graduate degree in civil engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, India and has worked as a project engineer in Vedanta Resources Plc for two years. He was involved in the construction of +4LTPA copper smelter plant and a Township Colony. His hobbies include reading books and visiting new places for adventure.

Peiheng is a PhD student and research associate in civil engineering at Arizona State University(ASU). He earned his master's degree in civil engineering from The University of Alabama(UA). His research interests include ITS, traffic network modeling, simulation, and evacuation. In his spare time, he likes playing badminton, table-tennis and photographing.

Rachel von Gnechten is an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering at Arizona State University. Rachel hopes to attend graduate school after completion of her degree and she is interested in possibly pursuing a career in Transportation Engineering. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and listening to music.
External Liaison: Alex Arveson
Alex Arveson is an undergraduate student in his final semester of Civil Engineering. He is concurrently pursing his Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering through the accelerated graduate program at ASU. In addition to his studies, Alex also works at Wilson & Company Inc. Engineers and Architects in the transportation division. As a sophomore in college, he studied abroad in the United Kingdom and Ireland, fostering a growing interest in transportation engineering, planning, and sustainability. Alex’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, biking, and camping.
