ASU ITU Student Chapter Election
We are honored to announce that the term of current members of ITE officers of our student chapter has come to an end, and positions are open to all members! We are extremely grateful for all that has been done in the past, and we are excited for the new term to begin. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more the transportation field, get connected with industry leaders, and hold a leadership position yourself. As previously done, the new President will be chosen from the current executive board, and five positions are open to all students: Vice President: assist the president and shall assume the duties of the president when the latter is temporarily unable. 2017-2018 officer: Shivam Sharda ([email protected]) Secretary: shall keep a record of all transactions of the chapter, attend to notification meetings, conduct all essential correspondence for the chapter, keep a roll of the members of the chapter, and submit an annual report to ITE. 2017-2018 officer: Golnoosh Miri (gmiri@asu.edu) Treasurer: shall take charge of all funds belonging to the chapter and shall be prepared to render an account of chapter funds at each meeting. 2017-2018 officers: Jun Xiao ([email protected]) and Taehooie Kim ([email protected]) Internal liaison: in charge of communications with internal students/groups at ASU, such as make announcements in class, reach out with other student groups, etc. 2017-2018 officer: Denise Silva ([email protected]) External liaison: in charge of communications with external individuals/groups outside of ASU, such as ITE Arizona Sector, ITS Arizona, etc. 2017-2018 officer: Lei Yudi ([email protected]) In order to run for any position, students will nominate themselves, and prepare a very brief introduction, along with motivations to join ITE, to be presented at the election meeting, February 7, 5 pm (CAVC 543). You can contact any officer with questions about the positions, and/or what we do. Election schedule: Monday, January 28, elections announcement. Thursday, February 7, 5 pm (CAVC 543), election meeting. February 8 - March 8, executive board transition period.
