Dr. Yingyan Lou is an assistant professor in the Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering program in the School of Sustainable Engineering and The Built Environment Engineering at Arizona State University. She holds a B.S. and a B.A.Econ degree from Beijing University, and received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Coastal Engineering from the University of Florida. Before ASU, she worked at the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama. Dr. Lou’s primary area of expertise is transportation systems modeling and optimization, and its applications in enhancing decision making towards a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable transportation system. Her research has led to 18 journal publications, 1 book chapter, and 14 peer-reviewed conference articles. In 2010, she received the Pikarsky Award for Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertations in Science and Technology from the Council of University Transportation Centers. Dr. Lou currently serves as a member in three Transportation Research Board committees (Transportation Network Modeling, User Information Systems, and Highway Safety Performance).

Peiheng is a PhD student and research associate in civil engineering at Arizona State University(ASU). He earned his master's degree in civil engineering from The University of Alabama (UA). His research interests include ITS, traffic network modeling, simulation, and evacuation. In his spare time, he likes playing badminton, table-tennis and photographing.

Rachel von Gnechten is an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering at Arizona State University. Rachel hopes to attend graduate school after completion of her degree and she is interested in possibly pursuing a career in Transportation Engineering. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and listening to music.

Monireh received her master of science in Industrial Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic in Iran. From her master, she found her interest in the application of Operations Research in transportation area and shifted her major to the transportation engineering in her PhD. Monireh is currently working with Dr. Xuesong Zhou in the school of sustainable engineering and the built environment at Arizona State University on the concept of ride-sharing.

Adyasha Mishra is a graduate student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Arizona State university with specialisation in Transportation Materials. Adyasha wishes to do PhD after completing her graduation. She loves to sing, organize events, play basketball, meet new people and travel worldwide. Research on airport designing and pavement materials analysis interests her.
